David Zhang is an MD/PhD student at the Perelman School of Medicine in the Genomics and Computational Biology PhD program. He graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and computer science. His current research involves using whole genome sequencing and leveraging electronic health records to investigate the genetic basis of disease and complex phenotypes. He hopes to use his research to better understand human disease and advance patient care and advocacy.
