Caroline Dias is an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and attending physician at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Following her undergraduate studies at Cornell University, she received her MD, PhD from the Icahn School of Mount Sinai, where she studied the molecular neurobiology of psychiatric disorders using mouse models. She subsequently trained in Pediatrics and Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital, simultaneously completing post-doctoral research on human genetics, during which time she provided the first systematic description of TRND. She currently leads an independent research program aimed at resolving fundamental neurogenetic mechanisms underlying brain function.
